Once your order with Japanese Pantry has been received, your order will be processed and despatched within 2-5 working days (during normal business hours). Our commitment to you is that your order will be carefully packaged and despatched within this time. You will receive an e-mail from us to let you know which courier company is handling your delivery.
Please note approximate delivery times from the date of your order:
Deliveries to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane Metro please allow 2-5 working days. Customers in other areas (WA, NT and Regional) please allow additional time. We emphasise that there are expected delivery delays at this time.
Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience longer delivery times during peak periods (due to bad weather or courier delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond Sake Boutique’s reasonable control. Online orders are processed and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria and so we follow any Victorian Public Holidays.

All payments are to be made in Australian dollars only.
We currently do not deliver outside of Australia.
Acceptance of Delivery
All orders must be signed for. Please note that anyone who signs for the goods at your nominated delivery address will be assumed to be authorised by you to do so. This includes, but is not limited to staff, colleagues, relatives and friends.
If no-one is available at the time of delivery and your parcel, please refer to your delivery notification card for options.
Delivery Risk and Insurance
In the event that order parcel has been lost in the delivery or postal system, Japanese Pantry / Nippon Food Distributors will take responsibility and organise for another package to be delivered. However, if the order has been signed for, Japanese Pantry / Nippon Food Distributors cannot take responsibility.
Tasting descriptions of the products delivered may vary from your experiences as temperature, packaging design and storage method will vary from customer to customer.
If you have given us an incomplete or incorrect address you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus the postal return fee. If the package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect name and the package is returned to Japanese Pantry / Nippon Food Distributors by the shipper, you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus a postal return fee, in order to re-enable shipping.
